This tape is very very thin so I recommend placing it , then removing the backing. Do not do this before placing it down first. I love that it can be easily removed and holds tightly . I've been looking for a double sided adhesive that is removable because the last one I used was not and ruined my wood floors . Thia is a great buy for carpets that roll up or light pictures to hang up ..
This tape worked fantastic I used it under my plastic rug so it wouldn’t move I will be ordering more for my home
