This feeder has a great value for is buck, for starters I love the color and it arrived with no smell at all which is always a concern. My fur baby has been seeming a little board lately so I figured it was time I start changing things up and this was the perfect item to do just that! I was a very concerned if she would be able to figure out the puzzle but that was no issue I think this is an excellent starter puzzle and any pup should be able to figure out this puzzle after seeing her fly through it. Needles to say she now looks forward to feeding time! It’s added a sense of fun and excitement to her day she can look forward to which is great. I’ve even found rather than her normal chow I’ve put in yogurt, strawberries, and other foods can fit in the slots. Luckily my baby isn’t a chewer but this item is a great quality I would suspect if yours is it would be pretty durable! All in all this product is excellent and I highly recommend it. 😊
My 8 wk old puppy was eating his food so quickly that he was choking. I bought this specifically just to slow him down. It works just as I had hoped! The sliding doors are very loose; it does not take much effort or force to move them from side to side. He immediately understood what to do and was able to eat all his food with the first use of the feeding puzzle. He went from eating in no joke 30 seconds to it taking him more like 5 mins. Mainly I’m happy he’s no longer choking. Quality wise: it’s just normal plastic. Nothing too special but not cheap and brittle. It’s extremely light weight. I’m not sure how it would hold up to larger more wild dogs (I could see them just pushing it around or picking up the entire thing and dropping it on the floor which would just let all the food out). The only annoying part is actually loading it with food but I would think this is the case for any puzzle feeder. It’s just tedious and sometimes the kibble gets stuck in the track of the sliding doors but is easily removable. Overall I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it, at least for puppies who eat their food as if they’ll never eat again.

this is a good purchase! i was nervous about my dog not being able to figure it out honestly LOL but she got it!!! and makes me happy knowing she's using her little brain! if your dog is more pretty than smart, this is a good purchase still. i promise. she's also a very skittish and scared dog and the plastic sounds freaked her out at first but she got over it pretty fast! it doesn't hold a lot of food, so dinner time takes a while but that's totally fine!
I purchased this for my puppy because he is non stop energy and figured some brain stimulation would tire him out. He figured out the puzzle before I could fully step away. I figured the product was too easy or not well made since he is a little .... Missing a screw shall we say. But then I had dog #2 try and well he is still trying to figure it out. So guess it's harder than appears. Purchasing a harder level for the puppy
